29 CFR 1910.147(f)(3)(i): A procedure was not utilized to afford the employees a level of protection equivalent to that provided by the implementation of a personal lockout or tagout device when servicing and/or maintenance was performed by a crew, craft, department or other group: Employees performing servicing and/or maintenance were not afforded a level of protection equivalent to applying a personal lockout device in that: (a) On or about April 30, 2022, employees performed servicing and/or maintenance such as but not limited to spraying off coils in the blast freezers. (b) On or about May 5, 2022, employees performed servicing and/or maintenance including but not limited to sanitation in blast freezers.
