29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: a) Dollar General Store #7988 - 3502 East Hillsborough Avenue Tampa, Florida 33610: The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent fire hazards as demonstrated on or about April 8, 2022 and times prior, in the receiving/backroom, where employees move, work and retrieve merchandise. In that, the portable fire extinguisher location was not identified. To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure that the location of portable fire extinguishers can be seen well from up close, at a distance, and from different angles. The Dolgencorp, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1461290, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on August 31, 2020, which respect to a workplace located at 1415 Ellis Ave., Jackson, Mississippi.
