29 CFR 1926.651(e): Employee was not prohibited to be underneath loads handled by lifting or digging equipment: The employer is failing to protect employees from struck-by hazards associated with employees working under slung loads during trench work. This was most recently documented on October 14, 2021, at the residential construction site located at the corner of SW Valley Drive and SW Meadowood Drive, Grain Valley, Missouri. An employee was permitted to repeatedly walk beneath the arm of an excavator as the excavator lowered a trench box into a trench.
