Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 004 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1):Examination. The employer shall ensure that electrical equipment is free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. Safety of equipment shall be determined on the basis of the following considerations: a) 742 Angelou Ave. Middletown, De: On or about September 8th, 2021 at (rear end of work truck), The employer failed to inspect electrical equipment to be used at the site was free of recognized hazards. A competent person was not on site who understands safety and health regulations and hazards well enough to identify hazardous conditions and who has sufficient authority to control or eliminate the hazards. This failure resulted in employee(s) being exposure to electrical hazards when employees performed gutter installation work.
