29 CFR 1910.332(b)(3): Qualified persons (i.e. those permitted to work on or near exposed energized parts) were not, at a minimum, trained in and familiar with the following: (i) The skills and techniques necessary to distinguish exposed live parts from other parts of electric equipment, (ii) The skills and techniques necessary to determine the nominal voltage of exposed live parts, and (iii) The clearance distances specified in 1910.333(c) and the corresponding voltages to which the qualified person will be exposed. On or about August 23, 2021, the employer did not ensure employees were adequately trained in the safety-related work practices to be employed to prevent electric shock or other injuries resulting from either direct or indirect electrical contacts, when work is performed near or on equipment or circuits which are or may be energized. Specifically employees were not trained in electrical work for voltages greater than 600 volts.
