29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a)At the facility, Union Avenue & DuBois Street Liquid Room: Employees were exposed to corrosive chemicals, such as, but not limited to, Rustex, Tru Sour, Destainer, and Bleach. The low pressure on the right hand side of the eyewash station affected the flow of flushing fluid. The employer did not provide a suitable eyewash station to ensure that the eyewash station was capable of providing controlled flow of flushing fluid to both eyes simultaneously, on or about, 7/26/21.
