29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air was used for cleaning at pressures greater than 30 psig: The employer does not ensure compressed air used for cleaning is regulated below 30 psi. This violation was observed on or about March 24, 2021, in the powder coating booth at the facility, exposing employees to hearing loss, objects in eyes, and blood poisoning hazards. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure compressed air used for cleaning is regulated below 30 psi.
