29 CFR 1926.62(f)(3)(i)(C): The employer did not provide HEPA filters for powered and non-powered air-purifying respirators: a) On or about February 1, 2021, Contour Saws, Inc. did not provide employees, who were required to wear respiratory protection, with air-purifying respirators with HEPA filters when draining molten lead from the Dart Heat Treat line machine, prior to dismantling the line. Employees were provided Gateway 80102V N95 respirators. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
