29 CFR 1926.452(j)(2): Poles were not secured to the structure by rigid triangular bracing or equivalent at the bottom, top, and other points as necessary: a) North side, near Northwest corner of house, 207 20th Street South, Brigantine: Employees erected and installed vinyl siding from a mixed component aluminum pump jack scaffold system with an approximate 36 foot high aluminum pole secured at the roof with only one brace approximately 25 feet above ground level, on or about 12/06/2020. b) West side, along side of house, 207 20th Street South, Brigantine: Employees erected and installed vinyl siding from a mixed component aluminum pump jack scaffold system with an approximate 30 foot high aluminum pole secured at the roof with only one brace approximately 25 feet above ground level, on or about 12/06/2020. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
