29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about November 30, 2020, employees were exposed to the hazard of being struck-by moving parts while working in and around the: a. the Yushin YCII-400 Take Out Robot because the cage surrounding the robot was not locked or interlocked and did not prevent entry to the area where the robot maneuvered. b. the Yushin YCII-250 Take Out Robot because the cage surrounding the robot was not locked or interlocked and did not prevent entry to the area where the robot maneuvered. c. the Yushin YCII-600 Take Out Robot because the cage surrounding the robot was not locked or interlocked and did not prevent entry to the area where the robot maneuvered.
