29 CFR 1926.404(f)(6): Grounding path. The path to ground from circuits, equipment, and enclosures shall be permanent and continuous. a) MA Diaz Construction, LLC, at a jobsite located at 833-869 Hidden Springs Drive, Lewis Center, Ohio 43035: On and/or preceding May 7, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees who used extension cords were protected from electrical contact hazards. Framers were using an extension cord with the ground prong missing from the male end of the cord at the temporary electrical panel, used to provide power to a distribution block, which exposed the employees to a 125 volt electrical contact hazard. b) MA Diaz Construction, LLC, at a jobsite located at 833-869 Hidden Springs Drive, Lewis Center, Ohio 43035: On and/or preceding May 7, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees who used extension cords were protected from electrical contact hazards. Framers were using an extension cord with the ground prong missing from the male end of the cord, used to provide electrical power to a circular saw, which exposed the employees to a 125 volt electrical contact hazard.
