29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2): Supported scaffold poles, legs, posts, frames, or uprights did not bear on base plates, mud sills or other adequate firm foundation: a- Building 200, 211 - 224 Betty Lane, Ewing NJ - Workers were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 25 feet to the ground surface below, when performing siding installation and other related activities from a pump jack scaffold whose vertical posts were not set on an adequate firm foundation. Condition observed on or about 02/27/20. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
