29 CFR 1926.451(c)(3): Supported scaffold poles, legs, post, frames, and/or uprights were not plumb and braced to prevent swaying and displacement: a) Worksite, 57 Glenmore Ave, Montauk NY, West Side of Building - Employees were performing cedar shake siding installation work from a 4-tier fabricated frame scaffold approximately 20-feet above the ground. Adjustable building jack post columns were placed along the support braces of the outer upright frame scaffold to prevent lifting and displacement; on or about 01/24/2020. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
