29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Fabrication Department, on or about 1/14/2020: Knuth Drill Press, Model KGB25, was not equipped with a chuck guard to prevent contact with the rotating chuck and serrated cutting tool. b) Fabrication Department, on or about 1/14/2020: Knuth Drill Press, Model SSB32, was not equipped with a chuck guard to prevent contact with the rotating chuck and serrated cutting tool. c) Fabrication Department, on or about 11/15/2019: Bridgeport Mill was not equipped with a chuck guard to prevent contact with the rotating chuck and serrated cutting tool.
