29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(i): Unused openings in boxes, raceways, auxiliary gutters, cabinets, equipment cases, or housings shall be effectively closed to afford protection substantially equivalent to the wall of the equipment. a. On or about November 26, 2019, employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards associated with a damaged 120 Volt electrical outlet receptacle on Press 2 in Department 13 that was attached to the ATM #2 control box that had an unused opening that was not closed.
