29 CFR 1926.966(f)(3): Temporary removal of guards. Before guards are removed from energized equipment, the employer shall install barriers around the work area to prevent employees who are not working on the equipment, but who are in the area, from contacting the exposed live parts. Location: The yard @ Station 980, Tupper Rd. East Sandwich, MA On or about October 8, 2019 employees were exposed to electrical hazards, where the employer did not ensure barriers were properly installed around the work area to prevent employees who were not working on the equipment from entering the area.
