29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(i): Selection of appropriate respirators was not based on the respiratory hazard(s) to which the worker was exposed and user factors that affect respirator performance and reliability: On, or about, September 10, 2019, at 4899 Commerce Parkway, Cleveland, OH 44128, in the welding department, an employee permitted to wear a 3M, 2096, P100 cartridge, half face, negative pressure, elastomeric respirator while performing welding operations using Antisplatter, a chemical that contains methylene chloride and requires the use of a chemical or or supplied air respirator.
