29 CFR 1926.651(h)(1): Employees were working in excavations in which there was accumulated water, or excavations in which water was accumulating, and adequate precautions had not been taken to protect employees against the hazards posed by water accumulation. Location: Sanborn Road Excavation a) On or about June 26, 2019, the employer did not remove water that was accumulating from the 14 foot deep trench, where an employee was working and installing a sewer in approximately 12-24 inches of water. b) On or about June 27, 2019, the employer did not remove water that was accumulating from the 14 foot deep trench, where employees were working and installing a sewer line, working in approximately 12-24 inches of water.
