29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Strain relief. Flexible cords shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided which will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. a. On or before June 25, 2019, where employees used an air compressor to provide air for pneumatic nail guns, the strain relief clamp was not used exposing the interior conductors, thereby exposing employees to a 125 volt electrical contact hazard.
