29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladder(s) were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed: location: house perimeter on or about: 5/6/19 a) Employees were using portable metal ladders to access the roof and ladder jack scaffold platform and to support a ladder jack scaffold. The lanyards, connecting the 2 flys of the ladders, were missing. NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
