29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: A) Pexco Packaging Corporation, located at 795 Berdan Avenue, Toledo, OH 43610: On or about May 1, 2019, the employer did not ensure that one or more methods of adequate machine guarding were provided to protect employees from hazards such as, but not limited to, the rotating protruding rod of the counter on the FMC Flexographic Press # 1 (Model 586, Serial # 3646) located in the printing department. Employees were exposed to caught-in hazards. B) Pexco Packaging Corporation, located at 795 Berdan Avenue, Toledo, OH 43610: On or about May 1, 2019, the employer did not ensure that one or more methods of adequate machine guarding were provided to protect employees from hazards such as, but not limited to, the rotating wheel of the FMC Flexographic Press # 1 (Model 586, Serial # 3646) located in the printing department. Employees were exposed to caught-in hazard.
