29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.: a) Amerinox located at 2201 Mount Ephraim Ave, Camden NJ, Building 2, Skid Building Area: Employees used compressed air to blow down the saw and work area. The compressed air was not supplied with a pressure reducing nozzle and was set to 120 psi, on or about 3/28/2019. Abatement Note: Compressed air used for cleaning. Compressed air shall not be used for cleaning purposes except where reduced to less than 30 p.s.i. and then only with effective chip guarding and personal protective equipment. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19.
