29 CFR 1910.147(c)(5)(i): Locks, tags, chains, wedges, key blocks, adapter pins, self-locking fasteners, or other hardware were not provided by the employer for isolating, securing or blocking of machines or equipment from energy sources: a) On or about 02/11/19 in the packaging area; employees were exposed to caught in hazards during the set-up, change over, cleaning and sanitation of the production equipment, such as but limited to, weigh dumpers and pouch filler machines on Line #1 - Solpac, Line #2 continuous packer, and Line # 3- PPI Leepack, when the employer did not provide these employees with locks, chains, or other hardware necessary to isolate and control hazardous energy sources, such as but not limited to, pneumatic, electric prior to conducting these activities. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
