29 CFR 1910.217(f)(2): Operator(s) were not trained and instructed in the safe method of work before starting work on mechanical power press(es): a.) On or about February 7, 2019, the employer did not ensure employees were adequately trained before starting work operating the presses, including but not limited to the T6 South Bend OBI-100 part revolution mechanical power press. Adequate training was not provided regarding the hazards associated with normal production, including mode selection controls, exposing employees to amputation hazards.
