29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program are understood by employees and that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls are acquired by employees: On or about 11/8/2018, in the injection mold equipment production area at 545 Old Elbert Road, Royston, GA: Where employees performed service and or maintenance such as but not limited to cleaning, clearing, removing plastic material and performing servicing and or maintenance on the injection mold equipment and machines. The employer failed to provide adequate training on the specific energy control procedures for isolating and verifying the energy sources on the equipment. 1. Injection Blow Molding machines and conveyor lines 2. Injection Molding machines 3. Other equipment in the injection molding production area.
