29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): The employer is failing to protect employees from fall hazards. This was most recently documented on or about October 17, 2018 and October 29, 2018 at the residential construction jobsite located at 522 Iowa Ave., in Holton, Kansas. Employees engaged in re-roofing activities, installing felt paper and furring strips, were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 27 feet from the roof of the structure to the ground below. Employees were not provided with a fall protection system while working at height.
