29 CFR 1926.651(i)(3): Sidewalks, pavements and appurtenant structure shall not be undermined unless a support system or another method of protection is provided to protect employees from the possible collapse of such structures: a) Jobsite: The employer did not ensure that a support system was installed under an concrete pad that was exposed and undermined in an approximately 9 foot deep excavation with type B soil. Condition was observed on or about 17 AUG 2018.
