29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): If at any time a powered industrial truck was found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe, the truck was not taken out of service until it had been restored to safe operating condition. a. Bunting Bearings, LLC located in Delta, Ohio: On or about December 8, 2017, the employer did not ensure the Clark CGG25 forklift used in the casting department was removed from service when it was determined the horn was not functioning. b. Bunting Bearings, LLC located in Delta, Ohio: On or about December 8, 2017, the employer did not ensure the Mitsubishi G-M13 #25 forklift used in the casting department was removed from service when it was determined the back-up alarm was not functioning.
