29 1910.1200(f)(6): The employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged, or marked with either of the options outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(i) and (ii), except as provided in paragraphs (f)(7) and (f)(8): On or about November 7, 2017, throughout the facility, the employer did not ensure that hazardous chemicals were kept in containers labeled in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.1200. Employees used chemicals such as, but not limited to, kerosene to clean parts and equipment and kept these chemicals in unlabeled containers such as, but not limited to, soap and soda bottles. Unlabeled bottles of hazardous chemicals were shared between shifts and kept at equipment for more than one shift.
