29 CFR 1910.178(m)(7): Brakes were not set and/or wheel blocks were not in place to prevent movement of trucks, trailers, or railroad cars while loading and unloading: a) Shipping area/loading docks: The employer does not provide chocks to forklift drivers to prevent third party tractor trailers from sudden movement from the trailer/truck while employees are loading or unloading product onto the vehicle. Wheel chocks were not set in place. On or about 8/29/2016. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
