29 CFR 1910.305(j)(3)(i): Appliances may have no live parts normally exposed to contact other than parts functioning as open-resistance heating elements, such as the heating elements of a toaster, which are necessarily exposed. a. On or about April 26, 2017, in the processing area near the Ideal 10 Machine, a Dayton industrial fan, model #9K980, used for air circulation, had exposed live wire terminals, exposing employees to electric shock hazards.
