Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 004 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer shall have each employee who performs work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. The training shall include the following areas, as applicable: On March 30, 2017, an employee was working from a ladder jack scaffold at approximately 21 feet without fall protection and the employee had not been trained in the recognition and control of hazards associated with ladder jack scaffolds.
