Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 004 Hazard:

29 CFR 1910.332(b)(1): Employees shall be trained in and familiar with the safety-related work practices required by 1910.331 through 1910.335 that pertain to their respective job assignments: On or about October 15th, 2016 through December 6, 2016, the employer failed to train employees assigned to perform tasks where electrical hazards would be encountered including changing fuses in electrical enclosures up to 480 volts. Employees were not trained to recognize or eliminate electrical hazards likely to result in electrocution, shock and/or burns from contact with energized parts. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
