29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Each authorized employee did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control: At 3125 Boschertown Road, St. Charles, MO, specifically inside of the Fabrication Department, the employer did not ensure that suitable instruction was provided to the authorized employees in the recognition of applicable energy sources, i.e., electricity, hydraulics, gravity, the type and magnitude of each energy source, i.e., p.s.i. and volts, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control, i.e. location of the energy isolation device and the type of lockout/tagout device to be applied. This violation was observed on 03/21/17.
