29 CFR 1910.146(c)(1): The employer did not evaluate the workplace to determine if any spaces were permit-required confined spaces: Kumho Tire Georgia, Inc., Macon, GA - In the Batch Mill, employees go into the festune to remove jams of rubber, sensors that may be damaged or grates that may have fallen down. Inside the festune there is a moving conveyor, chains and sprockets. The festune met the definition of a permit required confined space (PRCS). An evaluation of the workplace to determine if any spaces were PRCS had not been conducted, on or about 3/10/17.
