29 CFR 1926.451(c)(3): Supported scaffold poles, legs, posts, frames, and uprights were not plumb and braced to prevent swaying and displacement: a) North side of entrance overhang: Employees without any fall protection were working at heights between approximately 9 feet 10 inches and 11 feet from a makeshift wooden scaffold fabricated from left over lumber; platform was supported by posts made from overlapping lengths of 2x4 inch and 2x4 inch nailed to 2x6 inch pieces of lumber without any cross bracing, on or about 02/24/2017. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
