29 CFR 1910.219(e)(3)(i): Vertical or inclined belt(s) were not enclosed by guard(s) conforming to the requirements specified at 29 CFR 1910.219(m) and (o) (a) Room 137, Adaptive Equipment Workshop - On or about 4/5/17, the Singer sewing machine has a 3/8 inch wide vertical belt that lacks a guard. An employee was exposed to the in-running nip points between the belt and the pulley. The belt operates at 3,458 RPM. (b) Room 137, Adaptive Equipment Workshop - On or about 4/5/17, Consew sewing machine has a 3/8 inch wide vertical belt that lacks a guard.
