Information and training may be designed to cover categories of hazards (e.g., flammability, carcinogenicity) or specific chemicals. Chemical-specific information must always be available through labels and material safety data sheets. a. Forest City Technologies, Inc. located in Wellington, Ohio: On or about July 22, 2016, the employer did not provide information and training to employees who were responsible for cleaning a primer storage tank located in plant 4. The training did not include: 1. Location of the safety data sheets in Plant 4; 2. Physical and health effects of the liquid primer; 3. Measures employees can take to protect themselves from the hazardous substances.
