29 CFR 1910.134(j): The employer did not ensure all respirator filters, cartridges and canisters used in the workplace were labeled and color coded with the NIOSH approval label and that the label was not removed and was legible: a) USS Forrest Sherman, BAE Systems: On or about 04/06/2016, the Bullard 41A airline single-outlet filter used by employees for breathing air, the label was not legible. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
