29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: A. Compressor Room: On, or about, December 2, 2015, an extension cord was used on a regular basis to charge the battery provided on the Factory CAT floor sweeper. B. Aisle near Compressor Room: On, or about, December 2, 2015, an extension cord was used to energize the EMC water evaporator unit. C. Tool Room: On, or about, December 2, 2015: 1. An extension cord was used to energize a counter unit and light fixture provided at Bridgeport milling machine, serial number J212593. 2. An extension cord was used to energize a light fixture provided at Bridgeport milling machine, serial number J226094 and a feed motor provided at Bridgeport milling machine, serial number J117652. 3. An orange extension cord was run from a receptacle in the Tool Room to the work area of the OKK horizontal milling machine in order to energize auxiliary equipment such as a light fixture or fan, as needed. D. Shop Floor: On, or about, December 2, 2015, a computer work station that fed programs to the DeVleig jig mill, #63, was energized through an extension cord.
