29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) 443 - 447 Marlene Way Leola, Pennsylvania - Employees used a Werner 28 foot Extension Ladder that was not placed 3 feet above the landing to access and egress from the roof work area, on or about November 16, 2015. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
