29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i): Guardrail systems were not installed along all open sides and ends of platforms. Worksite located at 7390 West Middle Road, Raymond, NE, 68428: The employer failed to ensure a complete guardrail system was installed on a platform supported by a forklift prior to allowing employees to work. In this case employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 12 feet to the ground level below while utilizing the platform to access the roof. Abatement certification is required for this violation. The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citations.
