29 CFR 1910.95(g)(1): The employer shall establish and maintain an audiometric testing program as provided in this paragraph by making audiometric testing available to all employees whose exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels. 1.) On or about May 27, 2015 the employer did not establish and maintain an audiometric testing program for all employees whose exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time weighted average of 85 dBA. Personal noise monitoring by OSHA revealed that an employee working in the sandblasting area sandblasting inside rail tank cars was exposed to an eight hour time weighted average for noise levels of 103.2 dBA.
