29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii): Unused openings in cabinets, boxes, and fittings must be effectively closed. (a) On or about 25 March 2015, at the main work table in the maintenance shop, employees were exposed to electric shock and or fire hazards, in that the unused openings of the electrical outlet box used to connect various power tools and equipment was not effectively closed and protected. Abatement certification is required for this item; use the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET for this purpose.
