29 CFR 1910.179(j)(2): The following items were not be inspected for defects at intervals as defined in paragraph (j)(1)(ii) of this section or as specifically indicated, including observation during operation for any defects which might appear between regular inspections. a) On or about the week February 26, 2015, while operating the 1 ton yellow Konecrane, located in Fabrication Shop One at 873 Georgetown Rd., Salem, Ohio 44460, the employer did not ensure that daily and monthly crane inspections were performed by employees using the crane to load and unload the laser tables and/or move materials. b) On or about the week of February 26, 2015, while operating the 1 ton orange overhead crane, located in Fabrication Shop One at 873 Georgetown Rd., Salem, Ohio 44460, the employer did not ensure that daily and monthly crane inspections were performed by employees using the crane to load and unload the laser tables and/or move materials.
