29 CFR 1910.133(a)(2): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used eye protection that provided side protection when there was a hazard from flying objects. (a) Worksite, Mechanic Shop An employee operated a DeWalt Heavy Duty 8" Bench Grinder, Model # DW758 / Serial # 2008 17 - YL 14372, without any form of eye protection on, or about March 13, 2015. Note: In addition to abatement certification, the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this violation, in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19. Failure to comply may result in an additional penalty of $1,000.
