29 CFR 1910.307(c): Electrical equipment in hazardous (classified) locations was not intrinsically safe, approved for the hazardous (classified) location, or safe for the hazardous (classified) location: a) Saw Room - The employer did not provide electrical equipment approved for a location having accumulations of a class II combustible dust to protect employees from a potential fire hazard. Conditions observed on or about January 14, 2015 and dates prior and since. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, the employer must submit abatement certification and documentation, required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
