29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees: a.) HBD/Thermoid, Inc. located at 1301 W. Sandusky St. Bellefontaine, OH; On or about November 13, 2014, the employer did not assure that the purpose and function of the energy control program were understood. Employees are required to perform servicing and setup activities on equipment such as, but not limited to, Line #1-8 Lappers, Line #1 Reeler and Line #1 Rubber Mill and are exposed to hazards associated with accidental startup of the equipment.
