29 CFR 1910.1048(d)(6): When employee exposure to formaldehyde was over either the 8- hour time weighted average PEL or the 15 minute short term exposure limit, the employer did not provide written notice to the employees with a description of the corrective actions being taken by the employer to decrease exposure: Instances: a) On or about November 5th, 2014, at the above addressed jobsite, the employer did not provide the results and corrective actions after an employee was found to be exposed to 2.7 ppm (over the short term exposure limit (STEL)) while conducting teaching duties at the anatomy department. b) On or about November 5th, 2014, at the above addressed jobsite, the employer did not provide the results and corrective actions after an employee was found to be exposed to 0.8 ppm (over the permissible exposure limit (PEL)) while conducting teaching duties at the anatomy department.
