Section 5 (a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Employees were exposed to serious injury and/or death caused by leaking explosive drop plug buggies. a) Howard Boulevard, Kenvil, NJ - Production Areas Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard would be number each drop plug buggy so that it can be scheduled for preventative maintenance and inspection. Reference is made to the Industry Practice. Violation observed on or about 6/7/89
